Nitrous oxide is a safe and odorless gas that, when breathed in, delivers relaxation and feelings of euphoria, which is why it’s sometimes called laughing gas. This is a great option for sedation that allows you to feel comfortable at the dental office and doesn’t interfere with your normal daily activities since it leaves your system almost immediately.
